History of Sea Wind Bien Ngoc Cruise

Established in the October 2002, Halong Bien Ngoc Company was founded by a group of people that founded Hai Au Company (one of the most experience boat company in Halong Bay) ten years ago. Sea Wind Cruise Facts

The Sea Wind Cruise measures 31,5 meter in length and 7,3 meter in wide. This is a wooden junk features with three desks. The lower one is 11 passenger cabins. The cruise offers 11 Cabins (11,3 sqm) all cabins has in door private bath room with hot/cold water, private bathroom with shower, two ways air-conditioner.

The restaurant, bar & reception are on second floor is equipped with 29000 BTU air-con and can serve 40 people. The playing ground on Sea Wind Bien Ngoc is 35 sqm and right in the front of the restaurant area. There are corridors on both side of the lower floor and the second floors.

On the top deck passengers will find 15 sunbathing chairs & 7 rocking-chairs. This is a perfect place for relax and watching Sun Set.

The Sea Wind has 3 sails: height: 10m, width: 7,5 m; and the Mizen sail: height: 9m, width: 6m; foresail: height: 9,5 m, width: 7m

09.00 Get off the boat and van transfer through Cat Ba national park to visit Hospital (Quan Y) cave which used to be hospital cave during American war.
10.00 Continue driving for another 10 minutes to visit local family’s zoo in the center of Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve recognized by UNESSCO.
10.40 Having tea break at local family before getting ready for riding the 7 km silk road along costal line with breathtaking panorama ocean view, vegetable garden and rice field. The last 2 Km riding on the country side road will lead you to Cat Ba Eco – lodge where we will stop for lunch and resting.
12.00 Lunch served on traditional house on stilt of Muong People.
14.00 Getting things ready for 2 hours trekking and hiking deeper and deeper inside Cat Ba national park to get to Lien Minh village. This trekking and hiking route is used to be single trail for transferring fresh water by bamboo pipe from Suoi Goi Spring over rocky mountain to Lien Minh Village in the past time. Now the fresh water is supplier by state – government Water Company, so it’s almost forgotten and covered in bust.
16.15 Van pick up and heading back to Gia Luan dock to get back to your overnight Junk in Ha Long bay.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L)
